As an organization, we always support our employees to participate in competitions – both work related and non-work related. We had our team winning the Codeathon organized by IBM at Mumbai last year. We have an active Cricket team that participates in corporate tournaments in Chennai City.

The quiz team comprising of Anantha Subramanian (Asst. Project Manager) and Sylvian Patrick (Marketing Manager) recently won the Third prize in the Air India Travel and Tourism Quiz organized by Air India (National Carrier of India) in association with Asia Pacific Tours at Radisson Blu, Chennai on October 2nd, 2013. The quiz was organized to commemorate the International Tourism Day (September 27).

There were 120 teams participated from different corporates of Chennai. 1o teams were filtered through preliminary round for Semifinals. After a tough Semi Final, in which our team had to go through a Tie Breaker, the winners were chosen after a 9 round Final round. The questions ranged from naming the monuments to identifying airlines, hotels and tourist places. The quiz was eventually won by TCS followed by a team from Nadhi Consulting. Our team was placed third after giving a tough fight for the second place. Nevertheless a win is always a win.

The winners were felicitated by the Honorable Tourism Minister of Pondicherry, Mr Rajavelu and along with various dignitaries from Air India. It was a sweet win for Anantha and Sylvian as they will be flying to Singapore for a 3 Days/2Night stay. They were also runners up in the prestigious Idea Brand Equity Quiz 2012 (organized by The Times Group) and AIMA National Management Quiz 2012.
