It was a red letter day for Maarga as her contribution to spearheading innovation and paving the path for other entrepreneurs to follow was lauded at the Raj Bhavan by His Excellency Dr.K.Rosaiah, The Governor of TamilNadu. This was on the occasion of the launch of Pathfinders 2013 – a coffee table book brought out by the Times Group which highlighted the accomplishments of ten extraordinary personalities in the IT and ITES industry from Tamil Nadu.

It was a crisp function in which Mr. Ninan Thariyan – Vice President of the Times Group, Mr. Chella Srinivasan,  National Vice President, Indo American Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice-Chairman, Cognizant Solutions showered praises on the ‘Pathfinders’ who had shown an indomitable spirit in breaking through innumerable barriers to pursue their goals. Mr. Chella Srinivasan, assured the team that the IACC would do everything from its end to help.

Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan was very appreciative of the Academics- Industry interface that pervaded in TamilNadu. He brought out the explosion of thought that is bubbling here by pointing out the collaboration between the Great Lakes Institute (a management institute) and the Chennai Mathematical Institute in thrashing out a solution for the Retail Sector. Congratulating the ‘Pathfinders’ for their vision, passion and grit he lauded them for setting examples for the youth to follow.
